| Forbearance & Moratorium Update As the new administration continues to evaluate the impacts of the pandemic, an announcement was made on February 16, 2021 that the Forbearance and Moratorium expiration dates that were to expire on March 31, 2021 have been extended by an additional 3 months. The current date of expiration now moves to June 30, 2021. These extensions concern federally backed mortgages. There are also many state specific guidelines. NAMFS looks to provide our members with the most current information and typically we post on our social media accounts and announcement feature on the NAMFS website homepage. RENEW Your Membership There is still time to renew your NAMFS Membership without the reinstatement fee. All membership dues invoices which have been sent out along with CRM & Statement reminders are now past due. Those that have not renewed will notice that even if logged-in they will be unable to access certain areas of the website and will no longer be listed in the Membership Directory. We do realize there has been an issue with the Postal Service but would encourage you to contact us directly to renew your membership today!  NAMFS Participates in Elevate 21 Executive Director – Eric Miller presented on the State of the Industry. He also was on a panel conversation with Denia Ray of Nations Property Solutions and William Garrecht from Innovative Inspections which moderated by Bob Whelan, NAMFS Technology Chair and Xactware. CLICK HERE for more information about the event, including recordings of the sessions. Get Involved! The Industry Solutions Committee is finalizing an Industry Standard PCR. This Committee is also looking into pricing as it relates to the allowables using recognized industry data. If you would like to participate in this initiative please email admin@namfs.org. $1,000 Scholarship for Students! Applications for 2021 James R. Duncan Memorial Scholarship are being accepted! The deadline for submission is July 31. The 2020 Scholarship recipient was Tess O’Donnell. Who Qualifies? Students that are family members of a NAMFS member company or sub-contractors working for NAMFS member organizations. UPCOMING NAMFS EVENTS 2021 events will be VIRTUAL.
