Membership Types

There are six types of memberships.

Local Member: Application Fee $50 and Annual Membership Dues $195.00 

Individuals or companies that provide services in up to one (1) state.

Regional Member: Application fee $100.00 and Annual Membership Dues $395.00

Individuals or companies that provide service in 2 to 7 states.

Super Regional Member: Application fee $100.00 and Annual Membership Dues: $795.00

Companies that provide service in 8 to 24 states.

National Member: Application fee $100.00 and Annual Membership Dues $1,195.00
Companies that provide service in 25 or more states.
Affiliate Member: Application fee $100.00 and Annual Membership Dues $695.00

Mortgage servicing or industry related companies (ex. REO Brokers, Servicers, Investors)

Associate Member: Application fee $100.00 and Annual Membership Dues $1,095.00

Those offering products or services to the field service industry

Application Fees are a one time non refundable fee. ***Application fee waived through 2020 for Local and Regional Membership Types***

Application Requirements

1. Two letters of reference/recommendation

One must be from a current NAMFS member in good standing. One from an individual engaged in a business relationship with the applicant.


2. FULL MEMBERSHIP requires a minimum of two (2) years experience in mortgage field services.

PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP will be designated to applicants with less than two (2) years experience until such time as they reach the required years experience OR successfully complete ALL applicable NAMFS Certifications through the NAMFS Academy.

All applications are subject to review by the Executive Director and in case of challenges may be brought to the Board of Directors for final decisioning.

Applicants who have worked for NAMFS members within the past 12 months must disclose said relationship.

If it is determined that an applicant has falsified their application, a two year waiting period will be enforced.

Please note: The two week member comment period process does not begin until the receipt of all required documentation - submitted application, application fee and two letters of recommendation.  Association membership is at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.
