Problem Statement

Vendor's capture digital photos in many formats on various devices for their clients. The vendor is required to share these photos with their clients via an order system portal (website) or compatible tool that is integrated with their client's order system portal.

Supporting and communicating multiple photo file sizes and formats for multiple clients is not practical and difficult for the client's vendor network to adopt and support.

NAMFS' aim is to provide both a recommended photo file and video file standard for the industry we support. This allows client in-house development teams and third-party technology providers to communicate expectations to vendors and provide tools related to collecting of client required photos and video.

The single photo size/format of 640x480 JPG (JPEG) format for photos has long been established by the property preservation and inspection industry since 2010. This formalize the photo file standard used today by our industry.
