The Annual Conference of Mortgage Field Services, hosted by NAMFS, had something for everyone! Wednesday morning was kicked off with the John Ward Memorial Golf Outing held at Shingle Creek and the NAMFS Gives Back event, where volunteers helped Osceola Council on Aging. At 6:00 PM the conference officially opened with the Welcome Reception and Opportunity Expo. Attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvre’s and cocktails while networking.

Thursday started with the opening session and Keynote by Steve Gilliland. The remainder of the day allowed attendees to participate in the expo, technology demonstrations, supplemental meetings, and breakout sessions. Thursday ended with the recognition of the sponsors and exhibitors and a change to the schedule our Presidential Reception held at Discovery Cove. Attendees were greeted by a three-toed sloth and screech owl. There was also a sand sculpture and red carpet photo opportunity. Discovery Cove was a paradise of rocky lagoons surrounded by lush landscaping, tropical reefs, winding rivers, complete with waterfalls, and pristine white-sand beaches.

Friday consisted the traditional general sessions, State of the Industry and the opportunity to discuss Consistency in Field Services Guidelines. These were followed by breakout sessions and the conference drawing to a close earlier to accommodate many attendees travel changes due to hurricane Irma.
